Certification of personnel |
Certification of personnel, quality systems and products.
The Certification Centre separated from the Institute's structure, accredited by the Polish Centre for Accreditation, authorized by the European Federation for Welding, Joining and Cutting (EWF) and the International Institute of Welding is a body dealing with the certification/qualification of:
- welding personnel. Instytut issues diplomas of European/International welding engineer, welding technologist, welding inspector, welding specialist, welding practitioner and welder as well as EWF certificates of competence for engineers, technologists, specialists and practitioners,
- non-destructive testing personnel in accordance with EN 473 standard. The Centre issues certificates of competence for radiographic, ultrasonic, magnetic-particle, penetrating and visual methods of testing
- quality management systems in accordance with PN-EN ISO 9001:2001 and EN 729/ISO 3834 standards,
- welding products for confirmation of their conformity with the requirements of applicable standards or regulations as well as of the national safety sign.

Qualification Certificate |
Qualification of industrial enterprises, supervision of structure manufacturing.
Instytut Spawalnictwa, on the request of industrial enterprises, after inspection and stating that an enterprise complies with the requirements and standards, issues a Qualification Certificate which authorises the enterprise to manufacture welded structures in adequate class. The Qualification Certificate elevates the reputation of an enterprise and increases the competitiveness of its products on the market. It enables the procedure to obtain permission of foreign societies and a number of Polish institutions to perform welded works as well as solicit orders.

Transistor Generators for Induction Heating |
High and medium frequency machines for induction heating are designed for surface hardening, brazing and soldering, zone heating, tempering and annealling of thin-walled elements, melting and laboratory techniques. Electronic control systems ensure the optimum output power as well as optimum efficiency. The machine generators automatically adjust frequency to parameters of heated workpiece. Output power can be adjusted continually. Power can be controlled manually or automatically with the use of a programmable microprocessor controller, the use of which ensures repeatability of heating process. It is possible to store 32 heating programmes.

The offer includes collaboration and consulting services in solving problems such as reduction of costs, quality and competitiveness improvement of product and manufacture of welded structures. The scope of collaboration includes the following technologies: laser welding and cutting, plasma welding and cutting, arc welding, preventive surfacing and rebuilding, brazing, soldering and braze welding, resistance and friction welding, robotisation and mechanisation of weldeing works.
